After what has seemed like an eternity since its 2012 launch as a concept vehicle, the brash new Acura NSX is upon us with a release date by the end of 2015 as a 2016 version. Driving the back wheels, a turbocharged V6 and an electric motor sandwiched into the transmission supply most of the electricity, while each front wheel gets its own electric motor for hybrid vehicle AWD capacity. Pricing for the NSX will begin at around $150,000. Will it live up to its forerunner’s standing as an actual super car that makes a comfortable and dependable daily driver? All indications point to yes.
